
Refund & Return Policy
At Afro Comfort, we value our customers and take pride in the quality of our products. Our goal is to make every purchase a positive experience, and if something goes wrong, we’ll do our best to make it right.
1. General Rules for Returns & Replacements
We accept returns only for items that are Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect (DDI) due to our error. Returns or refunds are not accepted for buyer's remorse, customer error (e.g., incorrect size or address selection), or if you simply change your mind.
DDI claims must be submitted within 10 calendar days of the delivery date (as confirmed by the shipping carrier's tracking number).
To begin a claim, please contact us immediately at afrocomfort@afrocomfortshop.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos of the damage or defect. Once your return is approved via email, we will provide the necessary return shipping address and instructions.
2. Non-Refundable Items
Due to the custom nature of our products, the following items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded:
- Personalized or custom-made items.
- Items marked as final sale or purchased during promotional sales.
- Gift cards.
- Items that have already been replaced.
- Orders with a DDI claim submitted past the 10-day window.
- Items returned because you changed your mind or no longer want the product.
- Refund claims due solely to shipping delays (unless caused by our error).
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (such as receiving the wrong item).
We do not provide return labels. Customers are responsible for all return or exchange shipping costs.
Original shipping costs are not included in the refund.
4. Refunds
Refunds are processed as follows:
- Defective or Incorrect Items: Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment used for purchase.
- Approved Exceptions (Non-Defective): Refunds issued in rare, pre-approved circumstances will be processed as store credit.
Please note: All refunds issued to the original form of payment will have a processing fee deducted from the final amount.
Once your approved return is received and inspected, we’ll send you an email confirmation. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
5. Cancellations
Because orders enter production immediately after they are placed, orders cannot be canceled once submitted.
If you experience an issue with your order (e.g., a mistake in your address), please contact us right away so we can help.
6. Rights Reserved
Afro Comfort reserves the right to:
- Refuse or limit returns if items are not in acceptable condition (e.g., worn, washed, stained, missing packaging, or not resalable).
- Refuse returns or exchanges if an item is damaged after it has been received by the customer.
- Decline or restrict orders in cases of suspicious activity (such as unusual quantities, inaccurate billing/shipping details, or an excessive return history).
- Update this policy from time to time
7. Shipping Availability
At this time, Afro Comfort ships only within the United States.
